Kobe’s Last Dance

20 years of greatness; one legend that will live on forever.

For over twenty years, fans have chanted his name. Long before he stepped on the hardwood courts of the NBA, thousands have chanted his name. That’s because the athlete who would grow up into Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant gave them every reason to do so.

Whether it was the time he announced his leap to the NBA at the age of 17, or the night he scored 81 points, or when he was named the ’07-’08 MVP, or his winning those 5 championships, he spoiled his legions of fans every step of the way by playing his best, day in and day out. Simply put, Bryant embodied everything there was to love about basketball.

Kobe Bryant savored every moment as he was introduced one final time in front of thousands of fans in Staples Center.

On this, the day of his final game, the Kobe chants carried more meaning, as fans across the globe tuned in to watch and pay tribute to the Black Mamba. Fittingly, it was fellow Lakers legend Magic Johnson who introduced him right before the game. Before the tipoff, a video tribute was presented, highlighting Bryant’s impact on the game and the legacy of greatness he was leaving behind.
